College Recruiting

College Recruiting Resources

Interested in playing college soccer? We highly recommend it!

Playing in college can be a tremendous opportunity to continue your love and passion for the game while pursuing your college degree. Student-athletes are known to have great academic success compared to general student populations because of the support services, organization, and community provided by their college teams. Be a part of something special at the next level!

Getting recruited takes work!

We are here to support you in your college journey. Here are some important things that you can do to get recruited:

  • Be the best player you can be! Train hard, study the game, and keep your grades up. College coaches are looking for committed, hard working, talented players with great character
  • Create a highlight video showcasing your abilities
  • Send a personal email to college coaches with your highlight video and transcripts and invite them to see you play
  • Attend ID camps for the college you’re interested in (some “super camps” have many coaches in attendance. Make sure you will get interaction/evaluation from the schools you’re interested in before you register)
  • Consider creating a profile on captainU, FieldLevel, or NSCA (free options available)
  • Talk to your team coach and director, and review these important resources to learn more!
