Forced to play up in the older age group, these warriors battle to win their group and make the Championship match!

Coming off a State Premier League Championship in the Spring season, the Peninsula Galaxy have picked up where they left off while competing in two Premier Leagues and State Cup. They have opened the Fall season with 16 straight wins against top opponents.

It has been said that defense wins championships and the Galaxy are proving that statement to be true. With a deep roster of 23 players, everyone has made an impact on the team's success. They have only conceded 8 goals in 16 matches with 10 shut outs, lead by a tenacious back line and goalkeeper Damon Prasad.

"The defense is the backbone of our team and always has been" said coach Mike Sharabi, who has been their coach for the last 4 years. "We started as a Silver team and these boys have worked their way up to one of the top teams in the State. It has been a joy to be a part of and these boys have set a great example for the younger teams in our club, that hard word and dedication pays off".

The Galaxy are a couple more wins away from being crowned champions of both the State Premier League and the CRL. In November they will be traveling to San Diego to play in the Nomads Tournament, where they will be playing in front of many College scouts and no doubt will generate some interest from them.

The Galaxy will look to keep their win streak going this weekend 10/29 at 6PM in San Francisco and 10/30 at 11am at Port Royal Park.
