Mike Sharabi is a local product who attended Burlingame High School and is a member of the schools Athletic Hall of Fame. He is the all time leading goal scorer in the Peninsula Athletic League. Played collegiality at Menlo College and was named offensive player of the year in 2005. Mike began his coaching career at Menlo. He spent years as the top assistant coach before moving to Foothill Community College, where he was named Associate HeadCoach. At Foothill he helped lead the program to the State Final Four for the first time in 28 years and also had the highest team GPA in the Athletic Department as well as achieve national rankings of #9 and #6 in 2011 and 2013.
Mike spent the past 2 years as the lead assistant at San Francisco State University. The team posted back to back
winning seasons for the first time since 1980.
Mike also went back to his alma mater and coached at Burlingame High School. He led the program to the CCS Finals and Semi Finals in back to back seasons and was named San Mateo County Times Coach of the Year.
He has been a coach here at Peninsula for the past 3 years and has coached a handful of the older boys teams in the club. Most recently the U16 Galaxy Blue who won the State Premier League championship. He also coaches the U14 Avalanche Blue team.
Mike Holds a Bachelors Degree in Management and has a Masters Degree in Sports Management with a concentration in Coaching Theory. He also holds an NSCAA Premier Coaching Diploma.
